Nasscom Foundation has been at the forefront of promoting Digital Literacy in India, starting with its alignment with the National Digital Literacy Mission. One of its key initiatives, DigiSaakshar, is a comprehensive learning management platform that offers flexible learning models, including self-paced and instructor-led options. The aim of this programme is to equip marginalised communities with digital skills that enhance their self-reliance and resilience.
Building on this initiative, nasscom foundation has launched the 'Aspirational Districts' programme. This programme aims to further enhance digital literacy by providing subscriptions to informative pages and channels as well as physical resources such as books, magazines, and newsletters. It also promotes accessibility to e-governance schemes, ensuring that rural and marginalised communities are not left behind in India's development story.
With these initiatives, nasscom foundation is committed to creating a digitally empowered India where every citizen has access to the tools they need to succeed in today's digital age.
