Title: Assistant Manager- Diversity & Inclusion

Reports to: Head of Diversity & Inclusion

Overview & Key Responsibilities:  

At nasscom Foundation, Diversity & Inclusion team, we help organizations and the tech industry to  build a work environment that embraces diversity and where employees, customers and other  stakeholders thrive and succeed.
As key member of the team, s/he/they will be managing the Diversity & Inclusion initiatives of nasscom  Foundation. Broad structure of responsibilities is noted below. 


Program and Project Management: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of diversity  and inclusion programs and projects.

Communication Skills: Develop clear and concise written materials, including reports, presentations,  and communication collateral. Effectively communicate ideas and updates to internal and external  stakeholders. 

Webinar Hosting: Organize and host webinars on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in  the tech & social sector. Facilitate discussions and engage participants to foster learning and  dialogue. 

Event Management and Execution: Support the planning and execution of large scale events,  workshops, and conferences focused on diversity and inclusion. Coordinate logistics, manage  timelines, and ensure seamless event delivery. 

Research: Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to  diversity and inclusion. Synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations. 

Report Writing: Prepare comprehensive reports for DEI documenting program outcomes,  dashboards, newsletters, impact metrics, and recommendations for future initiatives. 

Industry Level Initiatives: Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and non-profit  organizations to drive collective action and influence policy changes in support of diversity and  inclusion goals. 

Operations: Strong Operational management skills to Support the Head of Diversity & Inclusion in  day-to-day operations and strategic planning

Key Requirements:  

  • Passionate and committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and social impact, with at total  of 6+ years of work experience and least 2-4 years of experience in Diversity & Inclusion. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Business Administration,  Communications) required. 
  • Must possess strong program and project management skills, including planning,  implementation, and execution of initiatives. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas  effectively and engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in hosting webinars and facilitating virtual and discussions using online  platforms.
  • Experience in event management, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and  participant engagement.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and synthesize data  from multiple sources.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and impactful reports and create presentations.
  • Familiarity with diversity and inclusion issues in the country & tech industry with a passion  for driving positive change.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic  environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities  effectively.
