“iTheatre” - where IT meets theatre

The Concept

NASSCOM Foundation is proud to present to you, iTheatre, which was created to promote work-life balance and creative employee engagements amongst the Indian IT Industry.  Through iTheatre, CEOs and HR heads can look forward to a lively, interactive and collaborative ambience that can increase inter-personal relations amongst management and employees as well as amongst peers themselves whilst at the same time having fun in watching the best of class theatre being staged by eminent artist and professionals from the theatre, television and Bollywood.  iTheatre can also be leveraged by members to involve the spouses and families of the employees who could be invited during these shows.  We want to ensure that we create the feel good factor and an ambience of fun and play where employees can bond, laugh a lot and be left with a ‘happy feeling’ whilst ensuring that the shows also have some social messaging that employees and the organization can relate to.

NASSCOM Foundation (NF) and Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) have collaborated to form iTheatre.  Together NF and AGP will initially present this unique opportunity to NASSCOM members only.  We have already staged our “zero show” at the Zensar Technologies campus in Pune, in May 2008, which was well appreciated and well received amongst the management and employees of Zensar.  

We therefore seek your support to host a series of three plays over a period of 18 months (at a frequency of one play per six months) in your respective campuses.  Our target is to host around 150 shows across India in our IT campuses and nearby auditoriums over this period.

Currently iTheatre offers two shows:
  1. Funny Thing Called Love
  2. Mad about Money
The third will be a new production that will be offered during the course of the year.  

Branding and other details:
 All communication will state "Sponsor and NASSCOM Foundation Presents ………Lead generation and other on ground initiatives will be deployed to meet all the acquisition initiatives of NF and the sponsor
 Awareness and hype may be created through, which can be assisted by iTheatre team.

The way forward

iTheatre’s plan is to stage shows on the campuses and integrate the objectives of our member, NF and the sponsor who would be leveraging iTheatre as a vehicle to reach their target audience. Over the next eighteen months, our target is to stage only 150 performances in all the IT hubs around India.
