Title: Assistant Manager – Data Management & MIS

Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Nasscom Foundation’s ‘Skills and Employability’ Initiative works to bridge the skilling gap in India towards its goals of social transformation and impact through technology. The Foundation works closely with the IT Sector Skills Council – Nasscom SSC. The Foundation helps the donor organizations finalize various aspects of the Skill-based CSR intervention. These include skill-need discovery and identifying gaps with women entrepreneurs that can be addressed with tech-based upskilling, course curriculum and the region of intervention. We work with training partners to plan and execute employment linked skill training, upskilling for youth, women, PWD’s, marginalized communities, unemployed graduates, colleges with special focus on aspirational districts/ Tier 2 & 3 cities across states.

Over a decade of our existence we have touched more than one million lives through our efforts towards providing digital literacy, skills for livelihood, supporting Persons with disabilities, empowering Non-profits with technology and engaging in volunteerism. The Foundation has a strong focus to nurture entrepreneurship ecosystem in order to provide sustainable economic growth especially involving women, youth and people with disabilities. We work towards equipping beneficiaries with multiple skill sets including digital and financial with a special focus on technology, vision to build an inclusive and sustainable India by leveraging the capabilities and competencies of the IT/BPM industry.

As key member of the S&E program team, s/he/they will be responsible for MIS related assignments. Broadly, following would be part of the responsibility of role holder.

• Design, develop and roll out MIS templates / formats to capture real time data for all ongoing projects in consultation with project teams and MEL team.
• Overall LMS management to support program teams
• Coordinate with multiple project teams to compile, clean and analyze data while keeping a tab on data quality.
• Maintain Dashboards and weekly program records and updates.
• Capacity enhancement of internal teams and IPs on use of MIS for respective projects.
• Supervising and handholding Implementing Partners in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Support program team and project leads in data analysis for periodic reviews of the respective projects.
• Field visits for understanding field realities and challenges being faced by IPs on the ground and collect insights for incorporating in MIS.
• Coordinating with Government agencies to access desired data as required.
• Support Program Team to ensure smooth functioning of project MIS and fulfil project MEL requirements.
• Any other organizational work as and when required.

Key Requirements

• Expertise with MS Office – Excel and other MIS tools
• Preferred working knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau/ Other Data Visualization tools.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in MIS, computer science, data science, data analytics, IT or similar domains.
• 5+ years of experience of working in MIS domain in development or corporate organization, preferably in organizations working in the area of skilling and employability.
• Experience of handling large volumes of data with the help of tools like Excel, SPSS, PowerBI/Tableu etc.
