NASSCOM:
NASSCOM was set up in 1988 to facilitate business and trade in software and services and to encourage advancement of research in software technology. NASSCOM’S vision is to support the IT industry to maintain India's leadership position in the global-sourcing IT industry. NASSCOM is the biggest supporter of NASSCOM Foundation activities through a yearly grant provided for taking ICT to the grassroots levels as well as to catalyze the contribution of member companies in the domain of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Microsoft:
Microsoft has collaborated with NASSCOM Foundation as a funding partner under its corporate social responsibility initiative. Microsoft has provided support right from the inception of the NKN program.. The partnership started in 2005 and has reached maximum beneficiaries since then. Microsoft’s MSUP curriculum is used in all the NKN centres. Microsoft has also supported by licenses donations to the network partners.
GTL:
Corporate Social Responsibility at GTL has been institutionalized as a way of life for many GTLites. Among numerous projects, GTL foundation has supported one Village Knowledge Center (VKC) in Pinguli, Sindhudurg district, benefiting 200 people
Hewlett Packard:
Better known as HP, it is one of the world’s largest information technology companies and operates in nearly every country. It specializes in developing and manufacturing computing, data storage, and networking hardware, designing software and delivering services in the world. HP supported NASSCOM Foundation in the Tsunami Response Program through the NKN centres
Xansa:
Xansa is a leading company operating across several business sectors, with four main areas of expertise: Business and Technology Consulting, IT Services, IT Outsourcing, and Business Process Outsourcing. They have supported NASSCOM Foundation in the Tsunami Response Programs through the NKN centres.
Intel:
Intel, the world leader in silicon innovation, develops technologies, products, and initiatives to continually advance how people work and live. Intel supported a series of capacity building workshops for NKN in 2007-08. The themes of these workshops were to infuse entrepreneurship in NKN centers.
Zensar:
Zensar Technologies is a globally focused software and services company spread across eighteen countries around the world with a mission of leveraging technology and processes to help customers attain their goals. A major component of their CSR is caring for the underprivileged by providing services in socio-economic, education and health services. In partnership with NASSCOM foundation, it collaborates with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to provide employee volunteerism and mentorship to set up and run a Knowledge Centre in Kharadi PMC School.
MphasiS:
MphasiS is a company that supports G1000 companies around the world in the improvement of their business processes. MphasiS consistently delivers global Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing, Applications Services Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing services through a combination of technology know-how, domain and process expertise. Mphasis has provided financial support for setting up the NKN centre in Doora Panchayat located in Mysore district, in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation’s implementation partner Srnivasan Service Trust.
InfrasoftTech:
InfrasoftTech is a global organization focused on delivering high-quality IPR based software products solutions & specialized software services. They are supporting an NKN center in the outskirts of Bangalore.
