NASSCOM KNOWLEDGE NETWORK (NKN) NKN is a network of telecentres that provide access to knowledge and information in education, livelihood, health, to improve the capacities for employment and entrepreneurship of underserved communities in rural and urban areas. Resource PartnersThese are the partners who have contributed in content, services, training, hardware, software, and curriculum and funds to run the centres. List of Resource Partners:
Implementation PartnersThese partners, mainly NGOS, CBOs, (Community Based Organisations), Corporate run Foundations, youth groups and various other not-for-technology groups are responsible for running the knowledge centres in chosen locations. They contribute in providing the space for the centres, pooling resources in setting up the centre with requisite hardware and provide manpower to run the centres. They are also responsible for local outreach and publicity for the centers to ensure communities near the centre are aware of the centre and are benefited by the services provided by the centre. |
