Goal and Objective

To increase the incomes either through employment or self employment
To instill a sense of purpose and build self confidence
To build respectability for women and adolescents
To motivate school drop outs or uneducated to go back to school or educate themselves without losing their much needed income by developing an alternative skill

Background of the program

One of NASSCOM Foundation’s main objectives in the Poverty Alleviation program is to provide employability and encourage micro-entrepreneurship to our rural youth and people from under-served communities including women, people with disabilities as well as unskilled workers.

Media Train is collaboration between Technology for the People (TFTP) and Star Features to develop the training methodology for conversion of the traditional skills into digital and animation artists.
