Computer Associates is a technology company and we build Enterprise IT management software products. In order to be successful, especially in the technology space, it is essential that our employees are continuously learning new technologies and business processes. We have been a leading software product company for over 30 years because learning is woven into our culture. So when we decided to get involved with and give back to the communities where we live and work, education was a natural focus area for us. When the Computer Associates India Technology Center in Hyderabad was established over five years ago, it wasn’t long before our employees wanted to get involved in programs that help with uplifting our local less advantaged neighborhoods. Consequently, within four months of opening our center, the CA HOPE School was founded.
 The philosophy that has grown from our ITC community relations involvement is to focus on just a few things and do them very well. Over the years, ITC employee volunteers have continued to selflessly donate their services to the CA HOPE School and CA HOPE 3-E Learning Center in collaboration with HOPE Foundation. This noble effort has a clear goal of making a deep and lasting impact on the lives of children and youth and has been extremely effective. Computer Associates’s work with the HOPE Foundation has become greater than the sum of its parts because of dedicated volunteers like Sairam. And while Computer Associates provides the majority of financial resources, it is the passion and dedication of the ITC employee volunteers that make the program a big success.We look forward to helping the children in the school fulfill their dreams of becoming teachers, doctors, scientists, police officers and engineers – we look forward to the day when one or more of these children graduate from college and join Computer Associates as software a engineer! |
