NASSCOM Foundation (NF), over the years, has spearheaded many programs that leverage the power of ICT for the benefit of the society and development of community as a whole. There is of course no doubt that channelised dissemination of IT knowledge can go a long way in poverty alleviation and create job opportunities for the marginalized sections of the society.

NASSCOM Foundation works as the intermediary between the industry and the society by making aids accessible to the grassroots. Over the years, NF has grown in terms of number of states it operates in and has also initiated numerous innovative programs. Last year, we started the technology philanthropy program, BiG Tech, which made technology accessible at the lowest costs and helped organizations save money which they could employ for other purposes.

This year, we have started the Poverty Alleviation Program which aims to provide skills/build capacities for empowerment besides programs like I-Get Involved which is an endeavor to enhance and help corporate in effectively applying their CSR policies. The other program initiated this year include NASSCOM Digital India program which is an effort to capture and showcase India’s traditional richness and diversity and create awareness about Indian heritage.

We have started true to our commitment of making India a progressive nation where each member of the community is an equal participant in its progress and nobody is left behind in our march towards excellence.
