Background: NASSCOM Foundation organised a session ““Towards a robust e-waste management system in IT Park”.  The aim of the sessions was to sensitize people about the broader aspects of the legislative and operational framework of e-waste management and address the challenges of the de-bonding process to help companies develop a more streamlined and robust e-waste management system.

Some of the key points discussed during the seminar were about auditing the recycler and the documentation required for the debonding. It was suggested that each park should have a designated area where e-waste can be collected and sent to proper recycling channels. The process of debonding was discussed in detail including the documentation required and the overall process.
