I have been working with various NGO's for last so many years, but being a part of the NASSCOM Foundation Pune CSR forum Steering committee is really special for me. I think this is a great opportunity to bring all those different NGOs together and with the united power of all of them, help the under or lesser privileged people in our society.


The launch of NASSCOM Foundation CSR forum in Pune on the 23rd of Oct' 2010 at the Community Day celebrations, is the first step towards bringing all these NGO's and corporates together under one umbrella. We have various NGO's along with corporates who play a crucial and vital role in bringing change in the life of these under privileged people,and will come together and perform.

This is a great opportunity to show the power of  unity and co-existence and demonstrate the "Anubandh" between different entities in our society.

As we always say, "Lead the Change and Light the Way", so be there on 23rd of October 2010 at ZENSAR to experience the change.

I completely identify with the quote above and feel that the NASSCOM CSR Forum is a unique platform where all the IT/ ITES/ BPO companies can come together and work towards a common goal – i.e. to contribute towards our community and shape a better tomorrow.

As part of the NASSCOM CSR steering committee, I see an unique opportunity to collaboratively work with other organizations on community projects which will benefit the lesser privileged and trigger a positive revolution across India as well as across the globe.

Our efforts towards the ‘NASSCOM Community Day’ are just a beginning towards this larger goal and I am sure we have more exciting experiences to witness in future.

The Community Day is an opportunity for employees and NGOs to work together and showcase a social cause in the form of a performance. We hope to reach out to the larger audiences about various causes that NGOs today are working towards and also boost their confidence with our support. We hope to see full quorum on 23rd Oct 2010, at Zensar amphitheatre, which will be a beginning to our future activities in Pune city. So be there!!
